8/5/2011 - Local Law Enforcement needs your help

Enforcement Agencies are requesting your assistance.

 

There has been a rise of Burglaries and Theft of property in the recent months. We ask that if you see a suspicious person or vehicle report them to your Local Law Enforcement Agency. If you see a suspicious vehicle please get the following information if possible, year, make, model, and color of the vehicle as well as the location of the vehicle.

Also try to get a license plate or look for any other things that make the vehicle stick out such as decals, dents, and even names.

Try to get a description of the person(s) in the vehicle as well as how many people are in the vehicle.

If you see a suspicious person(s) give a clothing description, as well as a description of the person such as race or ethnicity, height or weight and a kind of hair cut be it long or short and where they are located.

 Also remember when getting this information do it in a safe manner and do not put yourself in a dangerous position.

On April 11, 2011 during the morning time hours, a white 4 door Buick was vandalized in the 500 block of 4th St in Farwell, TX. The front window was broke out and two of the tires were punctured.

3/21/2011 - Main St, Friona, TX - Trailer Stolen

           

During the first part of March 2011, a homemade round bale trailer was taken from a location on south Main Street in Friona , south of the railroad tracks. The trailer was a single bale trailer which was red with a single white pin stripe. Further identifying information on the trailer is available.

Date of Offense: Sometime during the month of January 2011

Location: South of Friona 2 miles

 

A barn south of FM 2397, south of Friona, was broken into during the month of January. This barn was locked and there was forced entry into it.

Taken from this barn were numerous tools which included socket sets, air impact tools and sockets, wenches, tool boxes and many other hand tools.

Larger items such as battery charger and heaters were also missing. Theft amounts over $10,000. Contact the Parmer County Sheriff`s Office or Parmer/Bailey Crime Stoppers.

During the night time hours between January 8 and January 9, 2011, an Unknown individual/(s) caused Criminal Mischief to the following business; Security State Bank, Heaven Scent Laundry Mat, and Southwest Tire.  The individual/(s) used a B.B. Gun and shot some windows at each location.

On the night of 12-30-2010 or the early hours of 12-31-2010 an unknown individual(s) entered and committed the act of burglary of a building at the 1400 Block of Columbia Ave. Friona, TX. The individual(s) took a Campbell Hausfeld wire welder, a cutting torch assembly w/ a green push cart, a yellow Dewalt 4 ½ in. hand grinder, an orange Black & Decker palm sander and a green Hitachi drill.

On the days of 12-30-2010 through 01-02-2011 an unknown individual(s) committed the act of burglary of a habitation at the 1300 Block of West 7th Street Friona , TX . The actual time the incident took place is unknown. The individual(s) entered the home and took several items. The items taken are as follows: 52” Mitsubishi television, 22” Sanyo television, miscellaneous jewelry, 3 rifles and a large caliber handgun.

12/1/2010 - Armstrong Welding

On Wednesday December 1, 2010 during the late night hours or early morning hours at the location of Armstrong Welding, located at 1025 Ave A, Farwell, TX an unknown individual/(s) stole a single axle green trailer with a Miller Legend Welder and Purox Torch tank along with miscellaneous tools.  The trailer also has a white tool box located on the front of the trailer.  The trailer tag number is Texas 25YSKM.

On November 28, 2010, the Lazbuddie School reported that an unknown individual(s) committed the act of Criminal Mischief, by using rocks to break windows to the Ag Shop and a nearby van. This was possible done during the night time or evening hours.
